Билан не может выбирать себе продюсера Виктор Белан (псевдоним - Дима Билан) подал в суд на Союзконцерт, с просьбой разорвать контракт, и возможностью самому выбирать себе продюсера. Московский Савеловский суд отклонил иск.

Дмитрий Жарков, адвокат певца, сообщил, что судом была вынесена только резолютивная часть решения, поэтому причины этого решения еще не известны. Так же он заявил, что решение Савелевского суда будет обжаловано в Мосгорсуде.

В это же время, в Дорогомиловском суде Москвы идет судовой процесс по иску Союзконцерта в отношении самого Белана. Союзконцерт требует взыскать с певца 200 000$ за нарушение исключительных прав, а также хотят запретить ему использовать свой псевдоним – «Дима Билан». По просьбе защиты Белана процесс пока приостановлен.

Дорогомиловский суд Москвы арестовал имущество Белана в качестве обеспечения иска о взыскании компенсации за исполнение им четырех песен, среди которых «Ты должна рядом быть» и «Мулатка».
