Уголовная ответственность за непризнание Голодомора В прямом эфире на канале 1+1 Ющенко заявил, что необходимо установить уголовную ответственность за не признание и отрицание голодомора.

"Можно не знать историю, но ты обязан в морально-этическом аспекте уважать каждую жертву Голодомора… несмотря на этническое происхождение", - заявил президент.

Виктор Ющенко предлагает следовать примеру Израиля, который чтит память жертв Холокоста, он считает, что это хороший пример для Украины. Также президент отметил, что за непризнание «зла» нужно нести наказание.

Напоминаем, что 6 ноября Ющенко сообщил, что был подготовлен законопроект про уголовную и административную ответственности за отрицание Голодомора и Холокоста. Президент сказал, что вынесет законопроект в парламент после того, как осветит все обстоятельства Голодомора перед украинским народом. И он убежден, что проблем с принятием этого законопроекта не возникнет.

Указом Президента Украины от 24 ноября 2007 года, 2008 год объявлен годом памяти жертв Голодомора.

«В 2008 году в Киеве должен быть создан памятник жертвам Голодомора» - заявил президент.
